So you resolve to love your wife.

I think you are more than half way to loving not only your wife, but your brothers and sisters in Christ, because you know it is not something that comes to man naturally. This leads me to believe that we cannot draw on our own strength and ability, but must seek it in God's grace and His love.

In other word, your resolve should be to depend more on God to show you how to love your wife better. (smile)

it would be dangerous for the GOP to reschedule another VP debate... the more unscripted air time Palin gets, the more time people will have to realize that she couldn't answer a question about any of the major issues if her life depended on it. the prospect of her becoming the Commander in Chief is frightening

Shaun...i love it. The ridiculousness of this whole election is both mind-numbing..and scary. We all get a kick out of these 4 people in the spotlight. However, where 2 of those people could take us as Americans is the scariest thought of all!! I'm not ready for and am tired of my hard earned money going to people who don't deserve it...aren't you? (and yes, i mean dead-beats and the government...which are pretty much one in the same)

Kick them ALL out of office is my vote. Institute the FairTax, dramatically cut government handouts a.k.a. redistribution of wealth, drill for oil WHERE there IS oil, tell the environmentalist to shut up and shove it, tell the rest of the world that “hates” us to take a hike and take care of themselves WITHOUT our $$$$ holding them up. It’s time we quit letting the tail wag the dog my friend!!! America is the best and most blessed country on God's green Earth and it's high time we remembe that!!!

Take care Shaun. I feel better now lol. God bless you bro. Be good!

I think we should all tell our favorite PETA stories. I'll start.

Several years ago, I was in Norfolk VA. This is the headquarters of PETA-- they have a giant building, during the construction of which no animals were harmed. PETA organized a protest against McDonalds, that insidious company that has served several million cows and chickens to its rabid, unethical, voraciously hungry over-consuming customers.

Unfortunately, PETA mistook The Ronald McDonald House (yes, the house that gives parents a chance to stay close to their sick children in hospitals) as a sort of representative for McDonalds. They DO in fact have a life-size Ronald in front.

PETA representatives took the liberty of dousing Ronald in red paint (paint which was created without harming animals, no doubt).

Let's recap:

PETA- Norfolk VA- headquarters- Ronald McDonald House- poor, sick children- red paint.

GO PETA!!!!!

Ryan,

was it as revealing when the same thing happened at the DNC? Or do you assume they are against free speech? "The first gathering of the DNC African-American caucus this morning was interrupted twice by anti-abortion protesters yelling, "Obama supports black genocide!" Police sprinted down into the audience to grab the men while the crowd shouted them down with Obama chants." (source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/08/25/abortion-protester-interr_n_121173.html")

I will remind you, in case you didn't see it that a woman was acting crazy and running toward a presidential candidate, someone which has never been tolerated (need I remind you of the "Don't tase me bro" guy at the Kerry speech?).
